About the test:

Using the reflections of high-frequency sound waves to construct an image of a body organ (a sonogram); commonly used to observe & study bodily organs

 What you need to do:

1) Fix your appointment in advance from center.

2) Kindly carry all patients’ history reports.

3) Kindly confirm your appointment before visit.

4) Kindly Carry Doctor prescription Paper.

5) Do not eat before your test.

6) Drink 1.3 liter of fresh water before test.

7) Responsible relative should accompany the patient in case of fasting there may be chances of faint.

8) DO NOT GO TO THE WASHROOM until you are done with ultrasound.

9) If your examination is in the afternoon, you may have some dry toast and a small amount of water, black coffee or tea (no milk/cream) in the morning .

10) For Full Abdomen, Pelvis, KUB, Renal Doppler Patients must be on fasting prior to the test.

11) All other Sonography  i.e Neck ,Chest,Scrotum,Thyroid,Breast,Doppler Study  do not require fasting. No special preparation is required for these tests.

Reports:

Your Report will be made available between 4:00  to 7.30 pm on the following day.
